Refund policy
Last updated: 1 November 2026
We want every family to feel good about paying for Honeypetal. Here's how cancelling and refunds work.
Try before you pay
Every new family gets a 14-day free trial, with no card needed. If you don't choose a plan, nothing is charged.
Cancelling
- Cancel any time from Me โ Your plan โ Manage billing, or through your Link account at link.com.
- You keep full access until the end of the month or year you've already paid for.
- There are no cancellation fees.
Monthly plans
Monthly payments aren't refunded for part of a month, but you can cancel at any time so you won't be charged again.
Yearly plans
- If you change your mind, ask for a refund within 14 days of a yearly payment (your first payment or a renewal) and we'll refund it in full.
- After 14 days, yearly payments aren't refunded for the unused months. You keep access until the end of your year, and the plan won't renew.
- We'll email you before your yearly plan renews, so it's never a surprise.
When something's wrong
If Honeypetal has a major problem we can't fix, or it isn't what we said it would be, you're entitled to a remedy under the Australian Consumer Law, which may include a refund. This applies whatever this policy says.
We'll also refund you if:
- you were charged twice or charged by mistake
- we close Honeypetal or remove a major feature from your plan (we'll refund the unused part of your payment)
How to ask
Email hello@honeypetal.app with the email address on your account. We'll reply within two business days.
You can also ask for a refund through Link support, because Stripe's Link service processes our payments. Refunds go back to your original payment method. Depending on your bank, they usually arrive within 5โ10 business days.
